London Neighbourhoods | Walking Portraits – Folk

During this period of ultra local living, where we are spending more time in our homes and immediate area, we become more aware of the people and details that make up our neighbourhoods. In many cases we are witnessing a great coming together of different types of folk.

Our stores, temporarily closed, are dotted around London through Holborn, Soho, Notting Hill, Shoreditch & Kings Cross. They have always helped teach us how to be part of a community. Apparently in retail terms our shops are located in ’seconday’ locations - but to us they are placed in vibrant neighbourhoods where our friends live, work and hang out.

For the last few years we have made a series of interview films with Folk customers, we called them Walking Portraits’ and we figured it was a good time to show them again as we look forward to a time when our streets can start to come back to life and stories can be shared face to face once again.
