You may have noticed that here at Folk we appreciate simplicity. We practice functional design with innovative detailing; accessible, light hearted even, but absolutely stylish.

No surprise then that we fell for this new modern furniture system by UK/DK start up - Fuzl, which precisely mirrors our design philosophy. It manages to both improve the flat pack process and dial up design credentials. We like.

Dreamed up by designer Oliver Theobald and made real with Anders Lassen, Fuzl addresses the reality of small apartment living with quality furniture that can be assembled/ stored/ reassembled in seconds.

Oliver wanted something that was easy to assemble, simple and durable. It had to have no screws, no inserts and no tools... in short it had to be 'no fuss’. But above all it had to be made from solid materials whose properties conferred that sense of permanence which encourages people to adopt furniture into their life-baggage.

Based out of Denmark, Anders brings the manufacturing resource that turns the Fuzl idea into an ingenious product. A patented clipping system (clip-lok) fastens the furniture parts together and allows essential household pieces to be as adaptable as clothes in a wardrobe.

The initial short production run sold out instantly and gained accreditation & backing by The Design Council. Buoyed by this success Oliver and Anders launch a 6 piece collection for 2018 comprising Chair, Stool, Bench, Rotable, Dining Table and Modular Shelving.
